For a real club night by the sea in Tel Aviv, go to Shalvata at the Tel Aviv Port. For a beach party with a DJ, go to BAYZ and its Beluga roof bar at Hilton Beach, or Stolero by Gordon Pool. In summer, Clara runs an open-air dance bar on the sand near the Dolphinarium. Tel Aviv does not have gated daybed beach clubs like Ibiza or Mykonos; its beach nightlife is open bars, restaurants that turn into parties, and a few clubs at the two ports.

Practical tips for a night out by the beach
- Age. The legal drinking age in Israel is 18, but clubs set their own door policy and many ask for older guests on weekends. Bring ID.
- Nights. The big nights are Thursday and Friday. Things start late; clubs fill up after midnight.
- Season. The open-air places are busiest from May to October. Some, like Clara, close in winter. See the beach in winter guide.
- Drinking on the sand. Read the rules on alcohol on the beach and glass on the beach.
- Swimming. Never swim at night. There are no lifeguards after dark; see beach safety.
- Getting home. Parking at the port fills up fast on weekends; see parking near the beach. Taxis and ride apps wait on HaYarkon Street.
- Where to stay. For the port and Shalvata, look at hotels near Metzitzim. For BAYZ and Stolero, hotels near the marina.
