Meet the locals
Level 1 is the walk to Gordon Beach. Five zones, each with its own way of ruining your day.
Hayarkon Street
Buses that stop, lurch and forget you exist. E-bikes with somewhere to be. A parked car that leaves at the worst moment. Phone walkers who are "just checking one message."
The beach road
Parked cars that open their doors like it is a hobby. Drivers circling for parking since 2019. A van with hazards on, six dogs on six leashes, and a cat who decides when you pass.
The boardwalk
The bike lane is not a suggestion. Joggers who hear nothing, stroller convoys, a tour group on stop 4 of 11, a saxophone nobody ordered, and a seagull eyeing your shells.
The beach outskirts
Matkot balls from every direction. Beach attendants hauling stacks of chairs, kids sprinting with buckets of sea, selfie sticks with a surprising reach, and a lifeguard whistle that freezes everyone.
The sand
A wall of sunbeds, lobster-red tourists napping in your path, a backgammon feud, holes dug by a six-year-old, and one wave that says "not yet."
How to play
Step by step
One step at a time. Look first, then move.
Three hearts
Every hit costs one. So does a full heat meter.
Collect shells
Flip-flops speed you up, sunscreen cools you down, shells add points.
Find shade
Umbrellas slow the heat. Take the break.
Tips for a clean run
- Wait at the curb. The first gap is usually a trap.
- Pet the cat for 50 bonus points, but never stand still in the road. The inspector writes tickets.
- Grab sunscreen before the sand. The sand heats you up fastest.
- If a car door wobbles, it is about to open. Trust the wobble.
