The Tel Aviv Marina is at 14 Eliezer Peri Street, on the seafront between Gordon Beach and Hilton Beach. It was Israel’s first marina, founded in the early 1970s, and it is managed by Atarim, a municipal company. You do not need to own a boat to enjoy it: sailing schools, a water sports club and skippered yacht outings all work from its docks, and the rest of Tel Aviv’s Israeli coastal attractions are a walk away.

Information for Boat Owners
- Berths: the marina holds about 300 vessels. Guest berths are booked online through the marina’s Pick a Pier page, with limits of 18 meters in length, 5 meters in beam and 2.5 meters in draft.
- Services: diesel fuel, fresh water, electricity, sewage and bilge pump-out, showers, laundry and a boatyard.
- Approach: the entrance is at about 32°05.30’N 34°46.00’E. The cruising site Noonsite warns that it is difficult, and unusable in strong onshore winds.
- Foreign yachts: Tel Aviv Marina is not a port of entry. Boats arriving from abroad clear in first at Herzliya (the nearest), Haifa, Ashkelon or Eilat.
- Rules in the basin: Israel’s marina regulations leave the speed limit to the marina manager and require boats to make no wake. Swimming and diving inside the marina need the manager’s approval, and so does fishing. Ask the office for the current rules.
What Is Near the Tel Aviv Marina?
- Gordon Pool: the saltwater public pool, right next door.
- Hilton Hill and Independence Park: about a 10-minute walk north.
- Ben-Gurion House: the historic house museum, about 600 meters away.
- Tel Aviv Port (Namal): about 1.5 km north, roughly 20 minutes on foot along the promenade.
One thing to know: a plan to rebuild Kikar Atarim, the concrete square above the marina, was approved by the local planning committee in November 2024. Appeals followed, and no start date has been published.

The marina in 2026
The Tel Aviv Marina is one of only three marinas in Israel to hold the Blue Flag environmental mark for 2026, alongside Jaffa Port and the Herzliya marina. The 2026 round covered 62 beaches and three marinas out of 157 beaches nationally, with Tel Aviv-Yafo taking 15 of those awards, 13 beaches plus the marina and Jaffa Port.
The mark is assessed on 33 criteria through the bathing season, including independent water testing every 31 days, published water quality data, a posted map of lifeguard stations and accessible facilities, accessibility equipment, clean drinking water and free public access. For a visitor, that is the short answer to whether the water inside and around the marina is monitored: it is, and the results are meant to be public.
