How to get a room facing Jerusalem Beach
Jerusalem Beach, also called Geula Beach, is where Allenby Street and Geula Street reach the sea by the Opera Tower. Retsif Herbert Samuel is the road that runs alongside the Tayelet here. Ask for a sea-facing room above the 4th floor, looking down on the boardwalk; lower floors face the plaza and the road. The Herbert Samuel Opera and The Herbert Samuel Hotel take their names from the seafront street, and the Savoy Sea Side is on Geula Street. Several hotels at this end are mid-rise, so a 5th or 6th floor room can be the difference between surf and rooftops.
