Best Alcohol to Bring to the Tel Aviv Beach
Our top boozy choices for which is the most easy, efficient, and still tasty alcohol to bring to your Tel Aviv beach.
Mixed drinks for the beach visit
Making a cocktail and having it still taste good on the beach under the hot Tel Aviv sun is not so easy. We show you the best options from the most classic Tel Aviv drinks. Make sure to read our guide on whether you can drink booze on Tel Aviv beaches.
ARAK + LIMONANA
Take a 32 oz bottle of Lemondade, freeze it 2/3 full. Pour Arak into the remaining 1/3 of the bottle and then head to the beach. You will have ice cold Limonana for your beach trip. And at a much cheaper price than the normal 48 NIS it will cost you at a venue.
VODKA + XL
Also known as a Vodka Red Bull everywhere else in the world, Israelis love this drink! It may cause a heart attack but its fun and delicious. However you will need a cooler for this with ice packs – the Tel Aviv sun will melt your drinks otherwise. Bring 8 cans of XL for each 750 ml bottle of vodka.
GIN V’TONIC
This classic summery drink is appreciated in Israel. Much like the vodka XL drink combo – you will need an icepack. As for the type of gin it is easiest to buy a big bottle of Schweppes Tonic from your local AM PM. Try not to buy one of those donuts by the AM PM counter – we know it is tempting but that’s a slippery slope.
BATANGA (TEQUILA & COKE)
Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The classic Batanga drink slaps hard on the Tel Aviv beach. Ideally you will bring an ice cooler along with actual ice cubes. Get the cheapest Tequila from a supermarket. And bring 4x the amount of cola for the tequila you bring. One thing: DON’T DRINK AND SWIM! If you booze, lay on your mat and watching the fit beach body of Tel Aviv walk around.
Our 4 favorite beers to drink on the Tel Aviv beaches
Sometimes a brewski is the way to go when in the Middle East.

Goldstar
Also not so much explanation needed – 33% of Israeli population drinks this beer.
Bacardi Breezer
This is not a beer but it sits next to them in the makolet. It was popular about 20 years ago, and is making a comeback with Gen Z and the hard seltzer surge.
Shapiro Wheat Beer
This 5.2% beer is a delicious, refreshing blonde which needs a cooler with ice packs! Blondes are high maintenance!
